Let's Turn Our Lives Around

General overview for September 2007.

This month of September is reasonably well balanced in terms of planetary alignments. We can view this as an opportunity or an obstacle. It is entirely up to us. With so many planets changing signs and direction, we can best utilise this time by deciding to consciously turn our lives around. This is a call from the Cosmos to look at life from a different perspective. Have you been stuck for quite some time and felt you could not make any real headway? Now you are free to make some positive changes and see if you can make your mark on the world by being the unique human being that you are. So I say to everyone ¡§let¡¦s turn our lives around¡¨ and make it more meaningful and happy.

There are only 7 positive alignments compared to 8 negative ones. The oppositions tend to pull us in different directions, whereas the square challenge us to change. The helpful ones this month could change our love lives and the way we communicate with one another.

This month starts with which will certainly change the energy of our times and give us a more realistic approach to life.

In chronological order there are various changes in the heavens this month and they are: Saturn enters Virgo on Sunday 2 September and remain in that sign up until 30 October 2009; Mercury will enter Libra on Wednesday 5 September and remain in this sign up until 27 September; Pluto turns direct on Saturday 8 September; there will be a New Moon on Tuesday 11 September at 18 degrees of Virgo; Sun will enter Libra on Sunday 23 September and remain in this sign up until 23 October; there will be a Full Moon on Thursday 27 September, with the Sun at 3 degrees Libra and the Moon at 3 degrees Aries; Mercury is on the move again and will enter Scorpio on Friday 28 September and remain in this sign up until 25 October, and then re-enters Libra; Mars will enter Cancer on 29 September and remain in this sign up until the end of the year and then re-enters Gemini.

Saturn enters into practical Virgo on Sunday 2 August. This is an earthy, practical and analytical sign. We may see a focus on matters associated with health, hygiene, medicines and all associated medical services. New rules and regulations may be applied to any of these areas, food handling, and also with the military sector. There may be limiting or restrictive conditions put into place with regards to any of the above and medical prescriptions and procedures.

Mercury will enter Libra on Wednesday 5 September. This is the sign of balance, justice, unity, partnerships, and putting things in order. This 20 day duration can bring about major discussions concerning any of these matters. The newspapers will literally be eating up any juicy items connected to those who step out of the boundaries of the law. Young people may also head for the altar to declare their feelings of love, more so than usual. It is a time to see the other¡¦s point of view and to reach amicable agreements.

Venus turns direct on 7 September. Venus is all about love, romance, pleasure and the good things in life. During the retrograde phase we may have re-assessed who we love, what we love and why we love them. Now we know the answer. We can move forward knowing that our affections and responses to affection are in harmony with the way we would want them. Those who may have experienced some difficulties with their beloved may now be able to put things back on track. What we value and consider a priority will now become crystal clear. Anyone with similar degrees in Leo, or in any of the other fixed signs, such as Taurus, Scorpio or Aquarius may notice a change in their values or in their intimate relationships.

Pluto turns direct on Saturday 8 September. The mighty planet Pluto finally decides to get its act together and move into forward motion, so if you have been mulling over things associated with your past and attempting to set things right and rid yourself of excess baggage, whether that be emotional, or in your accumulation of goods in your home, you may now have a breakthrough and be able to move ahead in a much freer state of mind as if you have wiped the slate clean once and for all. It is time to leave the past in the past, move forward with confidence and a new philosophy that will be more appropriate to your current status and position in life. Some of us will have grown and become more mature during the retrograde phase and rehashed over many things from our memories that have haunted us and held us back. Now we can rise again, like the Phoenix, and start a whole new era. Pluto is the transformer, so this now heralds the time to get things moving. I personally am always so much more positive when Pluto is moving in direct motion. It is then that I feel things are on track. Pluto has nearly completed its transit through the sign Sagittarius and therefore those of us who have undergone some alteration in our beliefs and views on life are pretty much settled with this now. Pluto will remain in Sagittarius until 27th November 2008. It will actually dip into the first degree of Capricorn in January 2008 and then slightly retrograde back into Sagittarius in June 2008 for a very brief stay of just five months and then proceed full steam ahead into Capricorn in November 2008.

There will be a New Moon on Tuesday 11 September at 18 degrees of Virgo. This can put the spotlight on the health, medicine, hospital and food industries or places where cleanliness and good hygiene is important.

The Sun will enter Libra on Sunday 23 September and remain in this sign up until 23 October. This month long transit is the natural time of the year to start a significant new relationship, as the sign of Libra specifically relates to unions of all kinds. It is also a time when we can achieve unity, if that is what we truly want. This month long transit by the Sun will put the spotlight on the romantic affairs of those in the Royal families around the world and also on various VIP¡¦s and their relationships. It is also a time when people want to see justice done and so some issues may reach the headlines to do with people in the courtrooms, trying to reach reconciliation. It is possible that some situations may actually come to fruition and be resolved once and for all. We may see the beginnings of some new relationships making the headlines or agreements are reached on previously contentious issues. There will be a focus on peace-making and resolutions to prior conflict. A balance in power is possible.

There will be a Full Moon on Thursday 27 September, with the Sun at 3 degrees Libra and the Moon at 3 degrees Aries. There may be a clash between those who think in terms of ¡¥what ¡§I¡¨ want¡¦ and ¡¥what ¡§WE¡¨ want¡¦ in the world. The needs of the individual will be at odds with what the collective feel is needed.

Mercury is on the move again and will enter Scorpio on Friday 28 September and remain in this sign up until 25 October. This has the elements of decay, death, renewal and transformation. The positive manifestation of this can be a new life rising out of the old. We can make the best use of this time to fathom our deepest selves and come to understand what motivates us and what we are really trying to achieve in our life. This is the sign that goes to the deepest core of our being which can reveal hidden truths that have been buried for way too long. If we can align our intentions with our true nature and be aware that we each have our own unique dark side, we may be able to forge ahead and bring to light the real purpose of why we do the things we do. Whilst there is some truth in the fact that some things should always remain a secret, there are also beneficial results in dealing with harsh truths so that there is then no need to feel the guilt of having kept something hidden for so long. We can each create for ourselves a new life out of our new found truths and be more conscious of why we have felt unable to express ourselves openly and honestly before now.

Mars will enter Cancer on 29 September and remain in this sign up until the end of the year and then re-enters Gemini. This Cancerian influence could make us feel even more fiercely protective of our home, family and country and prepared to defend it at all costs. For those who are prone by nature to be aggressive, they may even strike out against their own during this period which will last until Mars re-enters Gemini at the end of this year.

Uranus is still retrograde and remains in this phase up until 24 November. Uranus is the inventor and the discoverer of places beyond our imagination. We may try to re-discover how we can tap into our own unique imagination and realise our true potential and capabilities. We may have denied some of the things that could be and now we may investigate and discover what really is possible.

Neptune is still retrograde and remains in this phase up until 31 October this year. Neptune is the planet of high ideals and elusion. It is also the planet that dissolves situations including ice, icebergs, snow and hail. It can also produce mud slides. This planet was the pivotal planet in the event chart of the landslide in Thredbo. Whilst Jupiter retrograde may have seen many of us go through of period of questioning whether we have enough faith to sustain us, Neptune retrograde may lead some of us to question our ideals and our views on reality. This is also the planet related to drugs and alcohol. There may be far more people finding secret places to hide their trade, and this will make it harder to track those bringing illegal substances in and out of the various countries.

For horary enthusiasts, Venus will be in the Sun¡¦s sign of Leo while the Sun will be in Venus¡¦s sign of Libra between 24 September and 8 October, which means they are in mutual reception. Continuing all month we still observe Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces indicating that they are still in mutual reception.

Now down to the specifics of daily planetary activity.

The favourable days in September 2007 are:

Tuesday 4 September: Venus sextile Mars. There is a lovely angle between the feminine principle of Venus, with the masculine principle of Mars. Those in the business of selling will have a field day if they use the methods of ¡¥sex sells¡¦ at this time. The seductive elements between these planets can be wielded on an innocent public who will actually lap it up like a pussycat with a bowl of milk. A good day to get married, engaged, go on a first date or start a business involved in capturing the imagination of those who are interested in what attracts one to another. Items such as perfumes and aftershaves will sell well, or other items that lures people to one another.

Sunday 9 September: Mars trine Neptune. This one is brilliant for putting your head together with another for inspiration. As Mars rules the head and Neptune rules the imagination, much can be gained by taking some time out to receive some insight into a situation you had been trying to fathom. Energy directed positively and with great clarity will bring many rewards. This would be a favourable time to put your idealistic intentions into action. This alignment can be used positively by those who are wise, and on a personal level, if we wish to tune into the Cosmos today, some of us may be witness to some amazing revelations on how we can all live in unity and where our future is heading on a spiritual level. Some will be given the gift of great clarity of vision and be able to tap into the avenues for success, or their definition of it.

Thursday 13 September: Mercury sextile Jupiter. This angle promises those who strive to see the bigger picture will do so and teach those who listen how to find it themselves. A great day to start a holiday or travel to places previously unseen. This could prove to be a great day to start writing a new book, open a book store or one associated with the travel industry. People will generally tend to be liberal and broad-minded in their thinking and approach to life. Also a favourable day to start teaching, lecturing or writing a lengthy project. The area of communications and information will be busy and any business started today that connects with these will fare well. This is a good time for negotiations and for getting your message across. The advertising and news media areas will be highly productive. There could be a merger between two large organisations, companies or countries, that can benefit everyone involved. Expansion is the key-word for the day, so plan to make this as positive a time as possible. A busy day for the travel industry and the Internet.

Monday 17 September: Mercury sextile Venus. This tends to incline people towards thoughts of love, harmony and peace. Some will write lengthy declarations of their feelings for the one they adore. Peaceful negotiations are highly likely for those who have the best interests of everyone at heart. A good day to have a celebration, throw a party, go on a special date, get engaged or married. Businesses that focus on communications and the elements of romance will fare well, such as greeting cards offering words of love and friendship. A day of love and poetry and light hearted fun and frivolity. Take time out today to enjoy some lovely music or pleasant scenery and you will be aligning your actions in accord with the romantic and peaceful vibrations of the heavens. Romantic attachments and friendships formed today will be free of jealousy or binding commitments. People will want to be carefree and concerned only with happiness and pleasure.

Wednesday 19 September: Mercury trine Neptune. This is a wonderful alignment for us fragile human beings, especially if we wish to tune into the cosmos and see what is really there. This can be a brilliant day to tune in and discover some amazing enlightenment as to our place in the scheme of things. New publications released today will do well, especially if they can incorporate some measure of mystery in their stories. Starting a new book with a focus on the mysteries of the universe, dreams or psychic phenomena will turn out very well. Travel brochures will be eagerly snapped up today and bookings made for overseas destinations with great enthusiasm. The travel industry will have a busy day moving people from A to B in quick succession

Monday 24 September: Mercury trine Pluto. This would be a good day for private investigators or the Police to go digging for information to shed some light on a previously hidden problem. Archaeologists too could have a field day and uncover treasures they had been searching for, for years. Egypt may suddenly seem a great place to be. Any type of exploratory works or projects now will reveal something previously out of view. Writers can get focussed and produce good works.

Thursday 27 September. Mercury trine Mars. This is a high energy day on a mental level so people will want to voice their opinions or be vocal about what they consider important. A good day to start a new business that requires huge doses of both intellect and muscle. Also a good time to take a hike, enter a marathon run, or join up with a group of young people to swap ideas on how to get fit and stay healthy. This is also a time to become organised with your filing system, conquer the mountain of paperwork and then let off steam later in the gym for some muscle flexing.

The not so favourable days in September 2007 are:

Monday 3 September: Mercury square Pluto. This is an aspect that will test those who are trying to push their wares or ideas on others, for resistance will be felt, which could be very subtle and hidden from view. Documents, alarming news and propaganda will claim the mass attention in some way so be alert and read everything thoroughly that you have to sign. Preferably wait for a more fortunate time to commence any new undertaking, especially if it involves taxes, insurance, or other joint monetary ventures. We need to guard against being manipulated or coerced into something we would rather not do. People who insist on digging up old matters from the past will find they cannot heal their wounds just yet, as it is too painful or confronting. There are likely to by many communications that should be mistrusted, whether verbal, e-mail or by letter. Documents may be misleading or have loop holes that are indiscernible. Agreements are unlikely or will be fraught with problems.

Tuesday 4 September. Mars Square Uranus. This is highly explosive and accident prone time so do not start out on any new journey or buy a car today. Try to avoid working with heavy machinery or electrical items as something may go horribly wrong. Plans will be unsettled and errors likely to arise quite unexpectedly. Take your time if people start to get pushy or forceful. Riots can develop easily so avoid large gatherings or people who are out to start a fight. Do not make any particularly personal decisions today as this could be fraught with problems and dangerous conditions. There is the tendency for people to knee-jerk in their reactions to others if they do not get what they want or hear what they want to hear. This is an accident prone day relatively speaking. People generally won¡¦t be co-operative and disruptive behaviour and even eccentricities will be far more intolerable to cope with than usual. Avoid those who are rebellious or anti-social for they will instigate disruptive actions that will attract problems for themselves and those around them.

Also today Sun square Jupiter. Not the kind of day to make promises that you later may find hard to keep. So don¡¦t try to talk or discuss philosophical issues with those in positions of power or associated with the legal sector of society. Some human rights may be violated on a day like this. Not the kind of day to be caught up in a big crowd as things can get out of hand and problems arise to do with large gatherings of people, especially near big buildings or law courts. Do not start any new business venture unless you have a lot of capital to back you up when things don¡¦t pan out as much, or as soon as, you had hoped for. I also would not recommend getting married as it may prove to be a heavy burden involving more than you can safely or adequately handle.

Monday 10 September: Sun opposition Uranus. Don¡¦t count on things going as planned today, for every little hiccup can magnify and throw your life into chaos. Air travel may be disrupted or exceptionally busy and mistakes are likely to occur that interfere with the way you had wanted things to go. Have a plan B ready as more than likely you will need it. Sudden, unexpected events can occur quite rapidly and prevent an easy flow of ideas and plans. Avoid rebellious people and eccentrics as they can play havoc with your routines or your way of life. Someone in power may have their status changed or they suffer an unexpected fall.

Monday 15 September: Sun square Mars. Not a day to speed down the highway ignorant of other drivers on the road. Not a good day to travel and, in particular, in any vehicle that will take risks or go too fast. Not a day to even go on a risky amusement park ride as something may just go wrong. This is an accident prone day so do not buy a new car or other machinery, or attempt to cross the road when there is lots of traffic. Some people will go off half cocked and end up red faced if they try stepping on other people¡¦s toes unnecessarily. Someone in power may have some difficult problems to deal with that arises suddenly and has to be resolved without blinking. People will not be patient or feel like waiting around on a day like this.

Thursday 20 September. Sun square Pluto. This is potentially a highly volatile and explosive angle that can erupt from out of nowhere and create chaos and ruin for those who take chances with their lives and their safety. A VIP or other person of high standing may take a fall or be held accountable for some misdeed from their past. Any secrets that are buried may be re-surfaced and exposed for all to see. This will be an ugly time for some, as the underworld elements of this can be exposed and create unpleasant situations for people to try to extract themselves from what they are involved in. Not a good day to buy a car, go into business, get married, engaged or start a new job, friendship or other personal decisions that can reflect on oneself at a later time. Be careful who you associate with and do not trust strangers. Alleyways and dark places should be avoided like the plague.

Friday 21 September. Mars opposition Pluto. This is the most volatile aspect we have this month and can be connected with potential war threats in the world. Both Mars and Pluto have a rulership over death and violence, so this is not the time to walk alone in a dark alley nor take chances with your life, risk your safety or meet with strangers. The air can be explosive and deep resentments can build from encounters made today that have sinister intentions. Don¡¦t start a new business or friendship today and make every attempt to avoid people and places of shady character, or large groups of angry people.

Saturday 22 September: Venus opposition Neptune (repeated from last month due to retrograde motion). This unhelpful alignment may lure some people who are planning to mix business with pleasure and this brings about disappointment, loss or other confusion due to outright deception or serious camouflage. It is not the time to commit to a relationship or even a friendship, for there is likely to be something glossed over that hides the real truth or some elementary ugliness. An apparent secure relationship may come unstuck and reveal a trail of dishonesty, treachery and lies. Those who live life on the surface and pretend to be happy will be faced with having to show their dirty washing and there may still be something lurking in their pockets. Check all facts and any new faces you meet today.
