Venus will now occupy your sector of romance, children, speculation and the pleasures of life and remains there until 1 August. This transit could bring someone new on the scene, whether that be a new lover or you become a parent. Whatever arises will fill your heart with gladness. You will be in an almost carefree frame of mind and want to enjoy your life to the max. Take time out for some R & R as they say and make sure you include either your lover or children in these fun time activities. It is also a time when a gamble could pay off favourably, so go buy that lottery ticket this month. Mercury will now occupy your sector of health, work and your daily routines and remains in this area up until 18 July. You could find another way of getting to work or perhaps even buy a car. You may notice that you are more sensitive to work pressures and may get somewhat frazzled by the pace of things and the many and varied changes taking place. Nervous complaints can arise if you get too stressed and do not take sufficient rest breaks. On Thursday Venus clashes with Neptune which may blur your perception about a family member or other person who shares your household. Take extra special care of your health and well-being. Also today Mercury forms a helpful alignment to Neptune which may put you in a dreamy phase for the day which could be put to practical use if you make a note of whatever arises. Then Mercury forms a helpful link to Jupiter when you will feel enormously optimistic and generous, especially towards your lover and your children, possibly due to Lady Luck finally arriving at your door. Mercury also clashes with your ruling planet Uranus which may spoil your romantic plans and even your bank balance. Venus also clashes with Jupiter when a family get together proves highly expensive but lots of fun and frolicking. Lastly today Venus forms a helpful link to Uranus so this can stimulate your adrenalin and get you moving. Your aims now may change considerably from what they have been in the past and this will give you a new sense of being free and independent. Lastly on Sunday Mercury opposes Pluto when you may have to attend to a serious health problem that may mean a quick stay in hospital or at a retreat.

Aquarius - The Year Ahead. 2009
In May, July and December, Jupiter, known as the 'greater benefic', forms a close link to Neptune which will show you that all the years of hard work are now going to come to fruition. Others will recognise that you have a great deal of skill and expertise that finally can be rewarded. You may expand your business at this time with confidence that the stars are blessing your enterprises.
In February and September Saturn opposes your ruling planet Uranus (as it did last year) which will be the two hardest month of this year so be forewarned. Do not start any new enterprises nor join up with any shared investments as they are not likely to go as planned. Any risks taken now will bring long term problems and restrictions into your life.
In November Saturn will clash with Pluto which is not the best time to travel any long distances. There may be problems with people in foreign countries or who have a totally different life philosophies and belief systems. If you should need to consult a counselor or therapist at this time it will be a very revealing experience.
During the next twelve months, the ‘greater benefic’ Jupiter, which is your ruling planet, will occupy your own sign and sector of self and how you relate to others, and will go into retrograde (backwards) phase for five months between June and October). This can assist you in many ways. Firstly it can bring you in touch with the rich and/or famous, and one or more of these people may be able to do enormous favors for you. You may also get itchy feet and want to travel the world. Certainly you should expand your range of interests and experiences during this time as it is a year of learning and changing philosophies and increased optimism. You could also put on weight if you are prone to do so.
Saturn which is the taskmaster of the zodiac will continue to occupy your sector of wills, legacies, the goods of the deceased, loans, your partner’s income or any other shared resource and will be in retrograde motion (backwards) up until November. Saturn however, will be in retrograde (backwards) between January and April. This is not the time to get into debt nor attempt to borrow funds that you may find difficult to repay at a later time. Your credit may be limited or other funds made inaccessible to you during this long transit. During the retrograde phase you may have to decide what is really important to you and how much you can take on that you can cope with. During the direct phase (between May and the end of the year) your level of understanding and maturity will be greater than ever and you will use this wisdom to guide you towards success.
Uranus, which is the planet of change, will continue to occupy your sector of income, earnings and the things you value, during which time he will be in retrograde phase between late July and late November. This often brings people to a decision to change their source of income to one that is radically different in terms of their past experience. You will seek out new experiences in the way you earn a living. There may even be an unexpected offer to work in radio or television, or perhaps even as an astrologer. During the retrograde phase (July and November) your leanings will be to discover what it is that you truly want to do to earn a crust. During the direct phase (January to June and again late November to July 2010) you will receive the enlightenment and insight into your own self and make a major transition to a position that will suit your unusual personality more adequately.
Neptune the planet of mystery, will continue to occupy your own sign and sector of self and how you relate to others, though will go into retrograde (backwards) phase between late May and up to early November. You can become more spiritually orientated, and lean towards mysticism, music, the arts for the answer to your life’s calling. You could become highly intuitive, perceptive and even have very vivid premonitions not just about your own life, but concerning others as well. However, the mysterious element of Neptune can colour your vision and judgment and lead you the wrong way. During the retrograde phase (between May and November) you may feel your imagination is running away with you and leaving you to pick up the pieces and sort out what is real and what is not. During the direct phase (January to late May and November to December) you will just ‘know’ things that cannot be explained by logical means, and these may be the best insights ever.
Pluto, the transformer of the zodiac will now occupy your sector of secrets, behind the scenes people and places such as hospitals or retreats. This can be an excellent time to go into your past and perhaps even visit a counselor who can help you to discover what makes you tick. The revelation that this can bring can turn your life around overnight. During the retrograde phase (April to early September) there may be an intense and deep-felt desire to dig into your subconscious to unravel whatever may have been hidden there for many years. During the direct phase (January to March 2009 and again from September to the end of the year) what you have learned will now make more sense to your life and help you to come to terms with something you did not have a very good grip on up until now.
