Overview for the week ahead...
This is going to be an exceptionally quiet week in our Universe. There are no planetary alignments at all! However we do have a New Moon; Jupiter turns retrograde and Mars enters Leo.
On Monday 5 May there will be a New Moon at 5 degrees of Taurus. This is an ideal time to get practical and perhaps even open a new savings account. Whatever you set in motion now can be quite long-lasting.
On Friday 9 May Jupiter turns retrograde and remains in this phase up until 8 September 2008. This I feel will reflect in many and varied ways according to your own unique position and beliefs about life, as Jupiter has rulership over faith. This could prove to be a time when some of us will question our faith and whether it is strong enough to sustain us in trying times. The earthquake in Bam in Iran would have to be one of those disasters, where those who are affected would question why this has happened to them. Their beliefs may undergo scrutiny and re-assessment. Some may feel they can no longer believe what they have always believed and may have a change of heart about how they will now view their lives. Jupiter also has to do with the courts and the justice system, so here again there may be some long drawn out situations, or perhaps a decision is made that is challenged by many who disagree with the initial outcome. Some people may want the justice system changed to incorporate capital punishment, and whether this is a wise choice or not, is not for me to decide. We could also see further incidents to do with issues surrounding some of the older and more established industries and government departments.
On Saturday 10 May Mars enters Leo and remains in this sign up until 2 July 2008. During this time we may see attention focussed on the price of gold. There will also be added focus on the entertainment world, movies and glamorous people stepping out and being counted and noticed, especially for anything outstanding that they do or announce around this time. Extravagance and luxury will be in the news and people buying up big and being generous and lavish in their expenditures. Credit cards will be utilised with careless abandon. Spending will be seen to show off power and oblivious to what the ‘have nots’ do not have. The Lords and Ladies of the world will be in their element and dressing up and going out with no thought for the rest of the world.
