In March, May and November Jupiter makes a helpful link to Uranus. You will want to break free of some shackles during this time and possibly seek a new and more interesting way of making a living. If you are invited to get in on the ground floor of some innovative new enterprise, do not blink or the opportunity may disappear. A child may also surprise you with some interesting projects he/she has in mind to launch on the mass market.

In November Saturn opposes Uranus which is not the time to take a risk with your savings as there will be some rather unexpected setbacks that get in the way. You will need to make sure that all changes at this time are carefully planned, and even then you will need to have a backup to secure your financial situation.

During the next twelve months, the ‘greater benefic’ Jupiter will occupy your sector of communications, siblings, neighbours and short distance travel and will go into retrograde (backwards) phase for five months between May and early September. This is the perfect time to express yourself, especially verbally or in writing. You could also take up some studies that lead to future progress in your career. You could write that novel you have previously started or become a freelance writer for a magazine.

Saturn the taskmaster of the zodiac will continue to occupy your sector of friends, hopes, wishes and any groups or committees that you belong to, up until November 2009. Saturn however, will be in retrograde motion (backwards) between January and April. You may become more serious minded and associate with more mature or elderly people than usual. However it can also be a time when you tend to isolate yourself, even from your long-term friends. During the retrograde phase you may wonder whether it is worth your effort to continue with some of your goals and may even separate yourself from those you normally associate with. Your social life may take a nose dive as you are just not interested in being out and about. During the direct phase (between May and the end of the year) you can decide who you want to mingle with and go after your dreams with a maturity that was not there before.

Uranus, the planet of change, will continue to occupy your sector of romance, children, creativity, speculation and the pleasures of life, during which time he will be in retrograde phase between late June and late November 2008. This can be a time of meeting and becoming involved romantically with someone who is very different to you in as many different ways as there are stars in the sky. Children can come and go from your life in rapid success, as can lovers, and your choices in the source of pleasurable activities. Sometimes a child runs away under this influence. Your level of creativity may change from one day to the next and you will be drawn towards anything new, exciting and novel. During the retrograde phase your search for the unusual and different forms of creativity may lead you to people and places that you would not normally go to. During the direct phase (January to June and again late November to June 2009) your choices will help to make you feel alive and bring great personal satisfaction.

Neptune the planet of mystery, will continue to occupy your sector of home and family matters and your early upbringing though will go into retrograde (backwards) phase between late May and up to the end of October 2008. This is not the most ideal time to buy a home or move into one which has a questionable past or some mysterious history that could involve ghosts or other unusual phenomena attached to it. There may also be something wrong with the foundations, such as water or oil damage or perhaps even termites. During the retrograde phase you may dig up old memories from your past and find a skeleton in the closet. During the direct phase (January to May and November to December) you can attune to the vibrations of your home and make it ideal.

Pluto, the transformer of the zodiac, and your co-ruling planet, will now occupy your sector of communications, siblings, neighbours and short distance travel (with the exception of a retrograde phase back into your sector of income, earnings and the things that are of value to you between mid June and late November). You can achieve a real sense of power in how you relate to others, especially in the written and spoken word. Whether you decide to write for a living or do some public speaking, it will be done with great conviction and passion. Your relationships with your siblings may take a turn that leads to irrevocable situations. During the retrograde phase you may need to do some serious thinking and planning about your future direction in the area of communications.
